Pfleiderer OrganicBoard
Pfleiderer OrganicBoard P2 is a chipboard with a decorative melamine top layer on both sides, in which 50% OrganicGlue (=biogenic or 'biobased' formaldehyde-free glue) is used.
This ensures that the use of fossil raw materials in the production of such board can be reduced by more than 30% (> 30% less carbon emissions).
In combination with recycled wood, this is a unique future-oriented raw material concept that represents a very nice sustainable leap forward within the world of panels !
Future-focused raw material concept
OrganicGlue is made from biogenic raw materials that are by-products from other industries. This contributes significantly to optimised sustainability, saves up to 20 m³ of natural gas per 1 m³ of OrganicBoard P2, and largely decouples the manufacturing process from the natural gas and urea supply situation.So by using OrganicBoard in your projects, you are actively reducing your project's impact on the environment. Moreover, OrganicBoard's formaldehyde emission, like all Pfleiderer's other melaminated chip, also complies with the strictest formaldehyde emission class (E05). Its use thus makes a positive contribution to a healthy indoor environment. Pfleiderer's materials are therefore ideally suited for applications in, for example, hospitals, residential care centres, nurseries and schools.
